Bonus: if you do smoke, one of our employees tested this out and it works! If you don’t, our fake puff cigarettes are popular, too!

2. Rhinestone Cat Eye Glasses. It’s not surprising these are popular since they add such a fun touch to a 50s sock hop costume. I love these because they remind me of my mom’s high school portaits! The most popular color is black – goes with everything, I guess!

3. Toy Tommy Gun. This has got to be one of the most fun accessories ever – it even makes rat-a-tat machine gun noises! A must-have for every gangster and gangster moll.

4. Faux Pearl Flapper Necklaces – 48 inch and 60 inch. Double them up for double the swing as you do the Charleston!

5. Dollar Sign Necklace. Our biggest, most over-the-top and ostentatious pimp necklace!

6. 50′s Scarf. A pretty chiffon scarf to tie at the neck and accent your 50′s costume. Pink is the most popular color.

7. Garter with Gun and Holster. It’s pretty obvious to me why this accessory is popular. There’s something so sexy about the women in old movies hiking up the hem of their skirt to reveal a hidden mini weapon. This is great for flappers, gangster molls, and saloon gals.

8. Gangster Spats. These white spats make anyone look like a dapper gentleman – or gangster … or pimp.

9. Suspenders. Suspenders have so many wonderful uses for costumes and every day – they’re perfect for clown costumes, gangster costumes, elf costumes, Cabaret, mimes and much more. Red and black are the most popular colors.

10. Black Fedora. This chic black fedora hat tops off a gangster, pimp or flapper costume just so!

2. Poodle Skirt and Poodle Skirt (Plus). These deluxe felt poodle skirts’ poodle appliques and wide black elastic waistbands (which eliminate the need for a belt) make these a hit with our customers. The most popular color by far is pink, with red in second and black in third.

3. Deluxe Marilyn and Marilyn (Plus).  The Deluxe Marilyn white halter dress with a pleated skirt is most like the original from Seven Year Itch. Marilyn (Plus) is the more affordable of our two plus-size Marilyn costumes.

4. Red Pimp. Made of red velour with zebra print trim, it’s no wonder this pimp suit is popular with wannabe pimps everywhere!

5. ’50s Hop Outfit. We keep a great selection of 50′s costumes year-round, so it’s no surprise they’ve caught on with customers. This one has a cute pink top and black poodle skirt.

6. French Maid. Of all our cute French maid costumes, this one is our favorite! It’s classic, sexy and good quality for not a lot of money.

7. Purple Flapper and Black Flapper (Plus). There’s something so fun and glamorous about dressing up as a flapper … I think it’s the accessories. Purple is the most popular color in standard size (second place is black and jade is third), and black is the most popular color in plus size (second place is red and purple is third).

8. Hop Diva Black. Another adorable 50′s costume, this one adds a hint of sophistication and sparkle to the traditional poodle skirt look.

9. Miss Mouse. This red and white polka dot adult Minnie Mouse costume is sexy with a splash of girlish cuteness.

10. Go Go Girl. This black and white geometric go go dress is fresh and mod and unmistakably 60′s!
