Did you know that "Star Wars" actor Harrison Ford wasn't even on the radar for the part of Han Solo? Director George Lucas originally wanted to cast actors that he hadn't previously worked with in the now epic "Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope." Lucas and Ford had worked together before. Ford portrayed cocky street racer, Bob Flafa in Lucas' "American Graffiti."
Ford was hired to feed lines to auditioning actors that included a young Kurt Russell, Nick Nolte and Christopher Walken. However, Ford had the best delivery. Now, can you imagine anyone else playing Han Solo?
